The BBC makes, on behalf of various charities and NGOs, films highlighting their work. These films are broadcast monthly as appeals for funds. In the present climate of conflict and economic crisis the portfolio has has expanded into some of the more troubled parts of the world. I have recently filmed appeals in Afghanistan, Liberia and Ethiopia.
